In memory of Mondi

Hey everyone. This one is a bit of a different post. As many of you know, our beloved Mondi passed away on the 3rd of July 2026.

He was the sweetest little guy and despite only living at Purrfect for 2 months, he made a lasting impact on us and on those who got to meet him.

When we rescued him from Türkiye we learned that he was older than we had originally thought and was already living with advanced kidney disease.

We were determined to do everything we could to give him comfort, care and as much time as possible.

Unfortunately our time with Mondi was cut short. However, we will continue to honour him and celebrate the memories and time we had with him.

Mondi was known to be a cuddler. Whether you were trying to work or were in the middle of yoga, he would very politely wait until you noticed him and then

crawl onto your lap. If you were lucky, you got to hear his small squeak that was reserved for those extra good pets. He would wait by the door when we opened,

determined to be the first guy you greeted. He was very gentle, even when batting the other cats away when they tried to steal his food, Mondi did not have a bad

bone in his body.

He was a fashionista. His renowned yellow and blue jacket will forever be famous and attached to his memory. He was a very affectionate and special cat.

One that we are so thankful that we got to love, pamper and cherish. Mondi will be missed so incredibly much.

Thanks to all your support and help we were able to provide Mondi with the best 2 months with the best food, 24/7 vet care and unlimited treats and love.

Thank you for helping us give Mondi a peaceful and relaxed last few months of his life.
